New to the game? New characters? Just a little unsure of how you're doing? That's what this is here for, people.

How it works: Comment here - others will reply to that comment with what they have to say, and hopefully many lulz and happifuntimes will be had. We're encouraging asking questions if you don't know why or how a character got to the point they're at in game, and we're encouraging constructive criticism that isn't:

"Oh, you're so good bb!"
or
"I hate you. Diaf."

So make it good! You only get one shot every other month, right? At any rate, before you go off to comment, remember: You will get comments you agree with, and you will get comments you don't agree with; thus is the way of life. Don't take it personal. Don't get angry and start trolling. These people don't have anything against you as a person — unless, uh, they do, which we won't abide by — and we're all here to have fun, right? So let's act like it.

Anonymous comments have been temporarily enabled in the OOC community for the sake of anonymous crit, but as this privilege was abused last time and the moderators had to intervene, as promised this time around we are keeping logging IP on. We will not be checking the IP-addresses unless things get out of hand, nor will we be sharing them ever, but this is a measure in place to help prevent further abuse of anonymous commenting. If this causes discomfort, most players, as well as the mods, have personal HMDs on their journals. You are also free to contact any moderators privately or by PMing this account.

To be honest, I'm amazed you can play so many characters at once while keeping their voices very distinct and entertaining WHILE ALSO not failing on the activity front. It's pretty awesome.

My only crit is that I think -- and this is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt -- you could stand to trim some of the fat from your cast list. You do great with the guys and gals you have, but I think you could do even better if you focused on the voices that are your favorites and ran with them.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment to me. Right now, I'm very comfortable with the characters I have and with my activity levels and I don't have any specific plans to cut any from my roster at this time.

As Ian mentioned, I agree that while you do well with a wide range of voices I think you (and your favorite characters) would benefit from a trim. You make AC with characters but I feel I don't see Matt and Kate too often and only when it's time to make AC. Matt's threads also progress slowly from what I have seen.

Otherwise I think you do a good job with these characters and have a great time playing and talking with you.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Respectfully, I'll have to disagree that my activity has been an issue. Matt had two logs in May, a post which was tagged by 25 different characters, as well as multiple qualifying threads for activity (with Calendar Man, Kate Kane, Gemma, Harvey, Jason, & Jessica Drew) which were spaced throughout the month. I acknowledge that I am slower with his logs, which is something I've been working on, however two of his more recent logs from April and May were multi-person logs which oftentimes take longer to complete. One of those logs is still on-going and is coming to it's conclusion.

Along with her post last month, Kate had qualifying threads with Jessica Drew, Gwen, Terry & Tommy, Tommy again, and two with Katniss, in addition to threads with Peeta, Buffy, Ollie, and Alex in May. I've been working to broaden her CR in the past couple of months since she ported back in, and since April she's also established CR with Damian, Nill, Kitty, & Victor Mancha.

I've already completed standard activity with Kate for the month of June (as well as with Zoidberg, Susan, Helena, and Bobbi) and Matt, Angelica, and Jessica have all completed half of the activity standard, and I fully expect to have completed similar levels of supplementary activity for them during this month.

I appreciate the feedback, but I do not currently see an issue with my activity levels and I don't plan to drop any of my characters in the immediate future. Again, thank you for taking the time to comment and if you have any other comments or questions, I'll be happy to field them. But at the moment I don't perceive activity as an issue for either of the characters you mentioned.
