New to the game? New characters? Just a little unsure of how you're doing? That's what this is here for, people.

How it works: Comment here - others will reply to that comment with what they have to say, and hopefully many lulz and happifuntimes will be had. We're encouraging asking questions if you don't know why or how a character got to the point they're at in game, and we're encouraging constructive criticism that isn't:

"Oh, you're so good bb!"
or
"I hate you. Diaf."

So make it good! You only get one shot every other month, right? At any rate, before you go off to comment, remember: You will get comments you agree with, and you will get comments you don't agree with; thus is the way of life. Don't take it personal. Don't get angry and start trolling. These people don't have anything against you as a person — unless, uh, they do, which we won't abide by — and we're all here to have fun, right? So let's act like it.

Anonymous comments have been temporarily enabled in the OOC community for the sake of anonymous crit, but as this privilege was abused last time and the moderators had to intervene, as promised this time around we are keeping logging IP on. We will not be checking the IP-addresses unless things get out of hand, nor will we be sharing them ever, but this is a measure in place to help prevent further abuse of anonymous commenting. If this causes discomfort, most players, as well as the mods, have personal HMDs on their journals. You are also free to contact any moderators privately or by PMing this account.

SO RAVEN, Raven has been socializing and what not. She's a challenging girl that is still refusing to actually have a good time, but she's getting there! I swear she's getting there. She has lost some of her abrasive edge from when she had just arrived, so now the nicer ImPorts can probably talk to her without fearing a verbal spanking or something. Well, most of the time. She's slowly coming to grips with her life here. Slowly and stubbornly.

Personally I've been having a couple of bad months, which has reflected on me not actually posting the apps I had ready (or submitting some pretty awful ones, too, alright), or with me tagging incredibly slowly. I don't want to say I have finally managed to get past it because every time I do something else happens. I still don't know if I should call a hiatus (I'm terrible at that stuff and I usually feel like I can deal with it but then I can't and everything is horrible).

I'm very much around for plotting and/or answering any doubts thought!

:( I'm sorry you've had a couple of bad months! That actually was what I was going to comment on-the fact that I haven't seen Raven about (and she's a pretty swell chick who I want more CR with, especially since I dropped Klarion). As for calling hiatuses, it's perfectly fine to post one even if you feel like you can deal with stuff but aren't so sure, just to cover all the bases. Just remember that rp's a hobby first and foremost-nobody's gonna call out the angry mobs just because you've had a few bad months.

(and also, if you ever want someone to proofread apps/play with for whatever reason/give you pictures of kittens, feel free to drop me a line!)

Yeah, I'm dealing with it though! I just don't want to jinx it. I think that at least for April I'm going to keep struggling a bit, and in May I'll make up my mind about hiatusing if it looks like I really can't find the time. Past midterms (which are in two weeks or something) I should have more time.

And I get twitchy when it comes to asking for stuff but I'll totally ping you!

Hey! We don't have much CR, but I just wanted to compliment you on getting Raven more out there. While I have noticed that you've been tagging very slowly, in terms of involving her with more groups of people I've noticed that she's branched out a bit (i.e. her involvement with the DOI) and tha'ts really great to see. I hope it keeps up and we get to see more of her around!

Yeah, my tagging speed is more related to RL getting in the way, constantly. I do want her to have a steady amount of people that at least know who she is, because she kind of needs that reassurance. I hope it's going well so far, thanks!
