New to the game? New characters? Just a little unsure of how you're doing? That's what this is here for, people.

How it works: Comment here - others will reply to that comment with what they have to say, and hopefully many lulz and happifuntimes will be had. We're encouraging asking questions if you don't know why or how a character got to the point they're at in game, and we're encouraging constructive criticism that isn't:

"Oh, you're so good bb!"
or
"I hate you. Diaf."

So make it good! You only get one shot every other month, right? At any rate, before you go off to comment, remember: You will get comments you agree with, and you will get comments you don't agree with; thus is the way of life. Don't take it personal. Don't get angry and start trolling. These people don't have anything against you as a person — unless, uh, they do, which we won't abide by — and we're all here to have fun, right? So let's act like it.

Anonymous comments have been temporarily enabled in the OOC community for the sake of anonymous crit, but as this privilege was abused last time and the moderators had to intervene, as promised we are keeping logging IP on. We will not be checking the IP-addresses unless things get out of hand, nor will we be sharing them ever, but this is a measure in place to help prevent further abuse of anonymous commenting. If this causes discomfort, most players, as well as the mods, have personal HMDs on their journals. You are also free to contact any moderators privately or by PMing this account.

He's been making an attempt to re-enter the dating world, thanks to various peoples' encouragement, and he's been on a definite 'upswing' in most areas of his life, both of which may smack as a bit unusual, to those who know the canon. Aheh. But a couple good months doesn't mean he's 'fixed,' by any means.

I just want to give kudos and a solid round of FUCK YEAH for picking up Floyd. I am a HUGE fan of their music, I loved the movie, and I love everything you're doing with the character.

Thank you, so much! Playing Pink is a ridiculous amount of fun for me, for a lot of reasons, and I'm glad people who are familiar with the movie are enjoying him, too!

um okay get ready for me gushing rainbows and unicorns full of love, because that's how your roleplaying makes me feel k.

i think you took really a really interesting character from a creative source material and elevated him. he feels so three-dimensional, and i feel like i take away something new from every thread that we do, so i'm really grateful that you're willing to tolerate emodemon mccrankypants here! you are definitely someone i want to thread and plot with for the foreseeable future.

Oh, gosh, thank you so much. I... am about to sleep, and cannot string together the response I want to, here, but. Thank you. Rounding out and adding depth to characters that didn't necessarily have it before has always been my favourite thing about RPing. And to hear I'm doing it well always makes me happy.

And Terry is fantastic to play off, for Pink, I really have to say. They have some interesting traits in common -- the kind of 'could go good or bad' thing, with their various unfortunate traits, tendencies, and patterns of thought, combined with a basic decency that just needs to be encouraged. I look forward to seeing where the both of them go, in the future!

(And, as a bonus, he got me thinking about how Pink would feel about comic-world sociology... is that the right word? in a way that others hadn't before, which was fantastic!)

Alright first off I'm not as familiar with Pink Floyd's music as others here. Sorry, simply a matter of taste and I've never seen the movie. Now that out of the way let me say I love tagging with Pink. It's fun it's interesting and it's something I always want more of. As a player you've been wonderful to communicate with and work on ideas with. So keep up what you are doing because it's fantastic.

Haha, that's fine. Their stuff isn't for everyone! I didn't think it was for me, until I saw The Wall for the first time. I'm glad people who aren't familiar with his canon (...so, the majority of everyone...) are enjoying him, too! And I'm glad I'm... I don't even know, what would be the right word? I'm glad I'm workable-with OOC, definitely. Because, you know, you worry sometimes.
