Okay so, I know I've already been tagging at the speed of a rock this past week for work reasons, but I'm going to be out of town from tomorrow until Wednesday and I have no idea if the hotel has wi-fi access.

I'm guessing not, so I'm calling a hiatus now to be better safe than sorry, although hopefully if I can find anyplace nearby with a connection I'll be able to keep up with the threads I've already started.

This post is mostly important for people who have regular contacts with the City's mob/criminal underworld/mafia/whatever. Xanatos is a dick.

His company has actually started doing something, and that is producing weapons. These weapons are particle beam accelerators like the one he made in canon (which is a fancy way of saying big nasty laser gun-I can find a youtube clip if needed). They are kind of weakish and cause severe burns to whoever gets shot by one, with the possibility of death if the weapons were aimed in the right place (head, heart, etc.). They look plain, with no 'Xanatos Enterprises' labels or anything on them: just plain gray slightly cartoonish gun things.

Xanatos is only going to be introducing a few (around twenty) and they'll be introduced gradually through the next few weeks because he wants to create a monopoly so people can buy them and pay him. So they're not everywhere, but they're still nasty laser guns and will still be noticeable. Feel free to have your superheroes/criminal people/whoever comment on these fancy new laser guns and golly gee, what sort of horrible person would give this to criminals?

Well, I've tried to avoid it, but my RP drive has fled to the hills and real life is pressing down on me in a manner most rude. So I'm dropping Terezi (and Stein if I didn't lose him in the last AC? it is really sad that I am unsure about whether I even still have him or not) and bowing out of the game for now. I've been here at CNC for more than two years, which is longer than I've been at any game ever, and it is definitely my goal to return some day...but for now I feel like I'm just sitting on my characters and that's not the way I want to play. CNC has never been anything but welcoming to me and I have seriously enjoyed every single bit of RP I experienced here.

Kanaya will actually see Terezi go, so presumably she'll go through Terezi's stuff (stuffed animals and law books and art supplies, all of it) or turn her room into the world's saddest shrine or something. :(

ALAS, THE TIME HAS COME.

i should have done this a few weeks ago, but i'm finally dropping evil!angie/thegooddoctor. she had a lovely run here doing dastardly deeds, and i am super sad to be leaving behind the bad girls club/evil plastics cries. CARRY ON DOING EVIL, BELLA AND LUST!!! and i will also miss all her other cr so very very very much. :c

she died (THANKS LUST YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD FRIEND) at the end of the wargames plot and simply will not be returning.

IDK WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT ANY OF THAT CREEPY JUNK but if you do or for some reason your character is interested in the creepy notes angelica kept on them, you're welcome to have at that stuff okay!!!
