HI C&CERS, Cris here. I'm in the middle of a hiatus, but I have a completely unexpected free day tomorrow so I figured I better throw this up now!!

Midnighter is extending an open invite to the City's Native population to live up on his bitchin spaceship for free, since their homes and workplaces keep constantly getting destroyed underneath them.

Over a hundred thousand natives will be taking him up on that and exiting the City over the course of the next few weeks after he hosts a press conference about it. I will make a newspost and a comm post either this weekend (if I get the time) or after the 10th when my hiatus ends! You may be asking yourself, will this even affect any imPorts?? WELL!!

He will also be extending this invitation to any young imPorts that want to get out of the City and out from underfoot all the constant city smashings (Midnighter has a disgustingly huge soft spot for kids, sobbing.) And who doesn't want to live on a fantastic spaceship several miles tall and wide? (Han Solo does!! How is that not endorsement enough??)

But he's not extending the invite to imPort adults because y'all are the cause of all these problems. YEP. (ImPort families, he's fine with. ALSO if anybody without kid characters wants in on this, we can work something out!!)

SOME DEETS ON THE CARRIER:

The version of the Carrier in the City is about twelve by seven miles (a fourth of the size of the Carrier in canon.) Its interior is quite fancy and futuristic, and a good deal of the halls that go along the outside of the ship are see-through for a crazy awesome view.

There will be fixed Door points (basically, teleportation) in all five of the boroughs open for Carrier residents to use if they want to take trips back and forth, though if they want to stay up in the Carrier there is a fully operational City complete with a little chapel that Jenny built into it.

While the Natives will be living down in the city part of the ship, Midnighter will have apartments up by where he and Jenny stay available for the kids, so he can at least keep somewhat of an eye on them. :c Here are some examples of what the apartment's interiors might look like if anyone is interested: bedroom, living room (HOPEFULLY STREWN WITH LESS ALCOHOL AND MUNCHIES), dining room, study

Can Import adults work on the Carrier if they can't live there? Because Mordin wants to examine the health of this new population. And also just breathe all over the spaceship.

Sure!! ESPECIALLY IF HE BRINGS NIFTY FUTURE MEDICAL TECH... Midnighter loves that shit lkjdfsalkjw. Also Mordin could probably live there if Midnighter got to know him a bit! Since he's not really one of the types that is going to pull asshole superhero/villain stunts that get half the City leveled (and he is one of those people that will kill those that need killin, which he can also appreciate.)
