SO REMEMBER HOW JENNY WAS TALKING ABOUT TAKING OVER THE WORLD ONCE...
Well, it turns out she wasn't really kidding all that much.
So basically Jenny's been thinking more and more on the idea of fulfilling her potential as a global leader of some kind (read as: POSSIBLE TYRANT) especially since she's felt really dissatisfied with the atmosphere, so to speak, of the world re: ImPorts. Of course, being a semi-sociopathic fifteen-year-old, her idea to fix this involves force and possibly poor life decisions, including her attempt to start a take-over in Southwest Phoenicia, just to test herself before she attempts something bigger.
Starting back in November, Jenny would have been progressively more hard to find (not on the Carrier and not hanging out with her friends) because she's been in Southwest Phoenicia, where she's begun her plan to take over by approaching one of the larger states that exist there and going through a process of confrontation of their leadership, intimidation, and outright violence as necessary, using her powers to make herself the leader of that state-- immediately after which, she'll go about using her reality altering powers to both improve living conditions for her new people and forcefully suppressing any rebellion.
Over the next few weeks following that, she'll begin her conquest of the neighboring states in Southwest Phoenicia, with an army built of the people she leads. By her birthday, January 1st, she'll have forcefully taken over the country. The next several weeks after that, she'll spend dealing with the conflicts between the various religious sects, trying to improve living conditions and sanitation, dealing with any rebellions/attempts by others to usurp her, and basically committing herself in the long-term to this little country. By the beginning of February, she'll be recognized as the official dictator.
NEWS AND OTHER AVAILABLE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS TAKE-OVER:
Up through mid-December, it'll mostly be rumors floating around in the news. Southwest Phoenicia doesn't get a lot of press, but people are eventually going to notice a fifteen-year-old ImPort taking over. At first, she'll be using the Carrier's Doors to stay as elusive as possible, aided by the already hostile sociopolitical environment. There will be some brief footage of a girl with powers, but Jenny won't speak to the press and won't appear publicly on purpose. There will be reports of her powers, but they'll be varied, since she uses reality altering.
Footage and interviews with her followers will become progressively more available over the next few weeks. People who support her and have been converted to her cause will wear black bandanas with the Arabic inscription "كسوف" or "kusoof" on it, meaning "eclipse." Her opposition will refer to her by the mocking moniker "le petit tyran", or the little tryant. Others will refer to her as "l'artisan de la paix" and various other nicknames. But she won't be calling herself Jenny Quantum publicly for a while.
On New Years though, she will appear publicly in a video announcing what she's done and her intentions for the future of the country.
WHAT THIS MEANS IS:
- Jenny will be available for minor things until mid-December, when she'll really be invested completely full-time into her project. So, please let me know if you want to do anything with her/need anything from me up until then!
- There is lots of room for other characters to be involved. Depending on how much your character is invested in international politics/pays attention to the news, they might notice that there's an ImPort playing tyrant in another country! AND I AM TOTALLY OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WANTS ANY KIND OF INVOLVEMENT, whether it's helping her or opposing/confronting her.
