i have been sick to death of christmas music since pre-thanksgiving: the story the life the hiatus.
Couple of announcements, some from olesia-the-player, some from olesia-your-lolimod, in opposite order:
● After about, let's say, a year of putting it off, the dropped characters directory/inventory/list/thing has finally been completed. Due to length, it is currently split across two posts, # + A-L and M-Z; it is (mostly) up-to-date as far as I can tell, though due to both the length and my own lack of familiarity of many of the series represented, there is a high probability of error somewhere in there! Links to these posts have been added to the community profiles and the directory entry. If there is anything amiss that you see, please let me know!
● After, uh... actually, the character requests page was actually completed a while ago, but I like a dumbass never unlocked it and also never told... anyone... that it existed or was in fit shape to be used, I am pretty sure. It should be now! As a result, while as far as I know none of the characters requested are currently in-game, some may be out of date or reflect wants for a cast to join a specific character who may no longer be around. If some of these requests are yours and you'd like them removed, go ahead and let me know; if there are any you would like added, there is a form available in that post.
● I am going on hiatus! Officially!! My activity's been pretty noticeably shitty lately, so it's about time really, but the whole realization of "I have a total of one day off in the next two weeks" is not exactly one condusive to timely tagging. So! This affects Ruka (dragony) and Yuma (soulbondee), a.k.a. a couple of scarred teenagers from card game universes, as well as a reduction in moderator availability.
Ruka has for the past few months been off at college in San Francisco (long story!!), aside from a trip to Venezuela and a guilt-trip attendence of her boyfriend's halloween party. She'll be arriving back Cityside in the early hours of the 15th for winter break, at which point godmode rights will go to Kirsten, with a side of Shadow if Karkat is still living in her house.
Yuma is back from the dead from the Thunderdome, and he does have his powers back, but he has not made himself known on the network at all since resurrecting. As far as most characters would know, he should still be considered dead! Like, Astral, Shark, and Shinji know, but unless they're gossiping, nobody else would. Yuma is kind of a jerk, sorry. Since Xepi is still on hiatus, godmode rights for Yuma go to Aaya. ALSO AAYA REMIND ME TO TALK W/ YOU ABOUT IDIOT TEENAGERS there's something I keep meaning to mention but I just keep losing the engine to this train in the trainyard.
I am going to try keeping up with backtags (points to eyes points to inbox points to you!!), and if there are any posts that go up during my hiatus that you want me to tag, I will do my best to participate! But I will need help doing so.
As far as modding goes, I will do my utmost best to stay on top of any current or future concerns. If you've brought something to my attention in the recent past but still have not received a response or finalization, please drop a reminder in my dw inbox, so I can better use my available time to help you; if something comes up over the next couple of weeks and you'd like to make sure to get my attention specifically, same deal. I can't promise responses to plurks or IMs.
