New to the game? New characters? Just a little unsure of how you're doing? That's what this is here for, people.
How it works: Comment here - others will reply to that comment with what they have to say, and hopefully many lulz and happifuntimes will be had. We're encouraging asking questions if you don't know why or how a character got to the point they're at in game, and we're encouraging constructive criticism that isn't:
"Oh, you're so good bb!"
or
"I hate you. Diaf."
So make it good! You only get one shot every other month, right? At any rate, before you go off to comment, remember: You will get comments you agree with, and you will get comments you don't agree with; thus is the way of life. Don't take it personal. Don't get angry and start trolling. These people don't have anything against you as a person — unless, uh, they do, which we won't abide by — and we're all here to have fun, right? So let's act like it.
Anonymous comments have been temporarily enabled in the OOC community for the sake of anonymous crit, but as this privilege was abused last time and the moderators had to intervene, as promised this time around we are keeping logging IP on. We will not be checking the IP-addresses unless things get out of hand, nor will we be sharing them ever, but this is a measure in place to help prevent further abuse of anonymous commenting. Other comments? Julian has been in game for around two and a half years now. Mainly his experiences here have made him (a bit) more positive than he is in current canon. Notably he's also two and a half years older, so by this stage he's edging towards not being a teenager anymore which is obviously very different from Marvel's sliding timeline where he's been a 'young' character forever. I've been trying to reflect that through involving him in more adult plotlines, like the DOI Skrullplot and Nick Fury's SHIELD 2.0, but there's obviously a balance to strike there.
Just a small note about activity. I am happier with my activity this month than I have been for a little while now, but I have over the last while been having some motivational issues. I'm sorry if I've been less visible because of that. It's something that I'm already trying to work on.

Actually I like the recent developments I've been having with Lancer. His cross canon CR is blossoming and he has been getting into all of the shenanigans.
My constant struggle is just finding that right balance of softly petulant arrogance and honorable bro-ness for Lancer. But I've been looking in to Irish culture to review when I find his canon lacking in situations.
Actually what I'd really like to know is if I've been doing well with his character. I need no butt pats or anything, in fact I'd feel better with legit crits.
