It's been a wonderful almost-10 months, but work is coming down particularly hard on us this year, and thus, I must regretfully cut back on my RP load. This means Midii here is getting dropped, and with that, I'll be leaving the game.

I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to everyone here. I've met some wonderful people OOC, and made some memorable CR I would have never expected otherwise. For a borderline child villain (well, more like a child who was forced into a bad situation and made even worse decisions because of it), I definitely did not expect the direction her character went in or the growth she's shown. Or to feel as welcomed into the game as I was. Especially given she's been a lone canon warrior from a semi-obscure canon for so long.

Obviously, her being ported out isn't going to have much affect on the game as a whole, but there are a few individuals who will be receiving parting gifts:

Gretel will be getting her puzzle collection & books. About three large boxes worth. Along with a note telling her that she was Midii's best friend in the City and will be missed.
Boyd will be getting all her Empathy/Doll experiment notes, and a short note thanking him for helping her the way he had.
Max, of course, will inherit all the money she's managed to save up, along with her two kittens (Toulouse and Berlioz) and a note telling her not to worry, that she's okay with going home now. That she's learned enough from her time in the City to take care of herself. The note will specifically end with the line: "I could not have made it without you. Thank you, Mama. Love, Midii."

I wish everyone well and will miss you all greatly!

I'm gonna miss Midii's :| reactions to Xanatos as well! Their threads together were...interesting, to say the least.

October is when the Feds come to observe and make sure we're following all the proper regulations so that we can continue to receive funding. Thus, the added stress. Fortunately, the worst of it should be over by November. ~~We hope~~.

I'm going to miss you and Midii so much. She's one of the characters that kept me wanting to play Boyd because their CR was so wonderful. You've been beyond fantastic to play with and I hope that one day when your work has eased up that I can do so again.

Also when Boyd gets those notes he's totally going to spend a long while sitting in his office alone staring out at the river being moody.

Like I told you in our PMs, the stuff she had going with Boyd was one of the reasons I stayed in for so long. I really was looking forward to getting to play out those plots we talked about. Especially after that FANTASTIC log that went on forever but in a good way. Then work decided to throw every curveball in the book at us this year, and I nearly went cross-eyed from going through four different schedule changes in two days alone.

Breaking my heart, Boyd. AND TAKE CARE OF GRETEL!

He will, I promise. The Porter doesn't get to take away anymore of his family damn it! And oh god yes that log was long in an amazing way.

I wish you the best with work, and I hope some of the insanity dies down soon. That really sounds terrible.

Gretel's going to be inconsolable and will probably carry that note with her everywhere. And she'll probably try to blame someone and get a little violent, but it will be in the spirit of friendship.

I'd say who'll be there to keep Gretel from getting into more trouble, but let's be honest, they'd both do that anyway. Just try not to kill anybody, okay?
