MASQUERADE PLOT
Hello again, folks! This is the official OOC post for the Masquerade Plot happening tomorrow! This is the rundown and general Q&A/plotting post for all your dancing needs!
If you were one of the lucky folks who got an icon commission, come and grab yours here. Be sure to thank Gabbie for being so awesome! Of course, this plot is open and anyone can come join in, icon or not!
Here is the rundown: When your character goes to bed, they will all experience a shared dream! This is the result of Mordin messing with Minako's powers, causing a manifestation of a masquerade ball! Your character will be masked (and dressed, should you chose it), as a mythological figure -- and this mask cannot be taken off by your character so easily.
In order to remove the mask or exit the ball, your character must have their identity guessed! Otherwise, any attempt to leave will simply put you in a circle of unending rooms and halls, and your mask will not move.
However, you cannot simply give yourself away so easily! Such as, Kirei can't just go saying he's the City priest to solve the issue. Where's the fun in that? This is totally up to your discretion to play, given how you'd like things to go down. Keep in mind that having your identity guessed doesn't boot you from the dream! It simply grants you the ability to leave should you choose. This is to encourage the CR!
Additionally, you can opt-in for your character to adopt a persona from the mask they're wearing! Think of characters who are under similar myths and the fun to be had there. Lastly, should you chose, your character can wake up and find their mask left on their pillow, as a memento.
Feel free to use this post for plotting needs and questions! The world within the dream will be 'endless' in a sense, so you can use whatever scenery you like.
