Sup capeandcowlers, I am here to tell you all about a TOTALLY AWESOME (and mod-approved) PLOT that will go down this week! Here's the rundown:
On March 8th, Terezi (somethinglawful) and Kanaya (glowsferatu) will have a feelings jam. This is a really common occurance and wouldn't mean anything for anyone except for the fact that in the middle of said feelings jam, they will receive a visitor.
Ziggy (ziggy_stardust) will show up at their door right as things are getting serious, seeking to pick up an outfit he had commissioned from Kanaya. Now, Ziggy's power involves broadcasting the emotions of those around him, ostensibly for a radius of no more than a few feet.
However, you all may or may not remember the fact that the City is now neighbor to a ~demon dimension~, full of tricksy...demons. Yes. And so due to shenanigans of a "demons from the demon dimension" nature, until the end of the 8th Ziggy's powers will be magnified and he will unwittingly (and unknowingly) broadcast the emotions of these two trollgirls to not just their house, but the entire City.
But Mono, you ask! What does this mean for my character?
Well, should you choose to opt in to this AWESOME PLOT, your character will feel a powerful urge to confess their deepest and most honest feelings and emotions. Not only that, but when other people confess their deepest and most honest feelings, your character will feel an obligation to listen and help them let it all out.
See, a feelings jam is what happens when two people sit down and have a no-holds-barred converation about how they really feel. And in Terezi and Kanaya's case, they happen to be moirails, so they trust each other and are willing to provide a listening ear.
So, tl;dr, characters will feel an urge to confess their feelings to anyone and everyone on March 8th, and also to listen to the confessions of others with an open heart.
And of course if you don't want your character to be affected by this plot, you don't have to take part! You can assume that your character was magically unaffected or maybe they happened to spend the entire day just outside the range of the magnification. Anything is possible when demons from the demon dimension are involved!
Now let's see how badly I messed up trying to do a bunch of cut texts. Heh.
