Wargames Wrap-up and Auf Wiedersehen!
The Wargames plot is officially over! This post is to hash out some of the consequences of two supervillains going to war in the City over three nights. Maddie and I put together some of the main points, any questions or anything that can be added can go in the comments. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this plot such a blast; we hope everyone had fun!
-The Doctor and the Major are dead and their forces have been wiped out. Angie's underground base was revealed by Terry and she was then shanked by Lust. The Major's HQ was tracked down by tech experts, and he was taken down by Alucard, Magneto, Bucky and Seras while other heroes rescued his hostages.
-The Doctor's monsters and labs were largely destroyed, although some of her notes on Imports might have survived for future reference. All vampires the Major brought to the City were either dusted or arrested by the end of the battle; those who survived will find themselves permanent Superjail residents. Some of his vampires still exist, created for Dolvanian use in exchange for that country's support. They may show up again one day.
-Joel Weinberg and Greg Lestrade were among Import fatalities. Their sacrifice and the heroism of everyone who helped defend, rescue and evacuate saved thousands if not tens of thousands of innocent lives from two armies of rampaging monsters. There were roughly two hundred casualties among Cityzens, the majority of them on the first night when defenders were still mobilizing their response.
-Damage to the City was concentrated around Manhattan and Brooklyn. The Doctor's forces wreaked havoc on the City's underground, so the subways and tunnels will be no-go zones for a while. The Major also sent Khisanth to randomly attack Chelsea neighbourhood, and launched a massive ambush that damaged a lot of Union Square (Thanks a lot, Pink.)
-The political and social fallout from this enormous spree of Import violence remains to be seen. The nobility and courage of the heroes who saved lives over the weekend is completely undeniable- as is the suffering left behind by those responsible for the horror.
Finally, the Major's death at the end of this plot represents his final bow in C&C. After three years of evildoing, he has been finally been defeated for good and will not be coming back. By now I feel I've done everything with him I wanted to or could even think of, so I'm sending him off on a fiery, bloodstained high note (or low note for his victims). I'll definitely be finishing the threads he's involved in- especially his death thread. It's possible he could come back one day, but for now this is the end for him.
I've had a blast doing more audacious things with him than I would ever have thought possible when I first brought him in. I'm grateful for the amazing run he's had. Thank you to the people who've helped make it happen and made playing him here so much fun!

So I'll be sad to see him go because of that, but I think you are right. You've done so much with him and it's been brilliant and I'm still amazed you've done it for three years. That's a hell of a thing to leave on and you should be proud.
Thank you so much for all the work you've put into him. All the plots you've created for him and then shared with us. Also thank you for letting me have a wonderful hatemance with him and Boyd. It was a blast and it will always be some of my favorite moments at this game.
...I think that's all I have to say about that for now.
Wait wait I got it. GOOD SHOW, SIR! There now I'm done.

Do you have an idea what cop casualties were this plot besides Joel and Greg, or should I ask Anne that?
no subject
You know I hadn't worked out cop casualties, but since only 200 cityzens died I think we should scale it to that. Say 15 to 35 most from the second day during evacuations. Does that work for you?

also major greg is going to be so pissed he can't imprison you forever over thisno subject

The only correction I would make is 'they were doing 'their' job, not 'they're' jobs :3

Spending the day running around doing errands in 98 degree Fahrenheit heat doesn't help.

Thanks so much for being such an A+++ plotter and player while channeling a crazy, fat, probably greasy Nazi warmonger!
....There are so few contexts in which saying that is complimentary 8|
