Just a reminder that if you want to visit an ImBargo'd country, here is where you sign up. You can sign up continuously there as is no time limit for now, but for the sake of staggered waves (given anticipated influx) I'll contact each grouping of players about their character's fate roughly every few days or so. IE if you've already signed up, expect word from me soon. If you sign up tomorrow, you may wait a few days to hear from me.

Tonight/tomorrow I'll be contacting everyone who has already submitted the form, and you can get right into playing out your fates.

That is all!

Not a signup to visit, but a question regarding another matter:

Boyd suggested Midii attempt to contact her home country's Embassy, something which I was actually interested in following through with. So I was curious as to how something like that might actually work within the plot. Especially considering it's a child character who would be asking, and one who may be considered less of a "threat" than others.

In this case, the country in question would be France, as Midii is technically a citizen roughly two hundred years from now (give or take; the GW timeline is a bit vague on exactly how far into the future it occurs). So, if Midii were to call them and either request asylum or assistance or some form of aid...would it completely backfire, would they simply turn their backs and attempt to remain neutral, or something else entirely?

France is not a country connected to the ImBargo Act, and Midii would encounter no issue reaching out to the French Embassy. Midii is, however, still an imPort and even children imPorts are regarded carefully (after all, there are a few thirteen/fourteen year olds who have murdered here). You can expect reluctant aid, as no other country's government (including the US) has yet to take an anti-ImBargo Act stance, so France will attempt to remain neutral for now while assisting one of their own. So: entrance into France, protection within French borders, offer of official citizenship and benefits with that citizenship are all fine. Diplomatic immunity into any ImBargo'd country: not fine. Midii is still going to be held to the same level as any other imPort in any country currently partaking in the ImBargo Act.

That's...actually a better reaction than I was expecting. Much better.

Thank you! I'll take that into consideration as I figure out what to do next!
