New to the game? New characters? Just a little unsure of how you're doing? That's what this is here for, people.

How it works: Comment here - others will reply to that comment with what they have to say, and hopefully many lulz and happifuntimes will be had. We're encouraging asking questions if you don't know why or how a character got to the point they're at in game, and we're encouraging constructive criticism that isn't:

"Oh, you're so good bb!"
or
"I hate you. Diaf."

So make it good! You only get one shot every other month, right? At any rate, before you go off to comment, remember: You will get comments you agree with, and you will get comments you don't agree with; thus is the way of life. Don't take it personal. Don't get angry and start trolling. These people don't have anything against you as a person — unless, uh, they do, which we won't abide by — and we're all here to have fun, right? So let's act like it.

Anonymous comments have been temporarily enabled in the OOC community for the sake of anonymous crit, but as this privilege was abused last time and the moderators had to intervene, as promised we are keeping logging IP on. We will not be checking the IP-addresses unless things get out of hand, nor will we be sharing them ever, but this is a measure in place to help prevent further abuse of anonymous commenting. If this causes discomfort, most players, as well as the mods, have personal HMDs on their journals. You are also free to contact any moderators privately or by PMing this account.

Other comments? I've been off my game lately, and so I relish any and all criticism and advice. One concern that's been brought to me is that I've been spreading myself too thin with plots, which I acknowledge completely. I intend to spend the next month focusing on nothing more than keeping my tagging reliable, engaging, and ever-present in the community.

I'll just reiterate really quickly: I do really appreciate you focusing on communication now, because it is really hard for me to plot around things abruptly when I don't know what's going on, especially if it's something that will affect my character(s) and how they communicate with Katurian. I know we've discussed some of this privately and I've definitely noticed you listening and you've become more communicative about your plotting, which I really appreciate. So, for starters, thank you for that!

One more thing I wanted to mention which I mulled over a little after our conversation was, sometimes when tagging with you I've had a little trouble staying invested in the threads because I noticed a bit of an "auto-pilot" vibe from your tags -- in that they don't always seem to relate/respond to whatever my most recent tag was saying. To be honest, that's why I petered out the Norman and Katurian CR we had, because in the events I did get tagged back in those threads, they were very "auto-piloty" which just sort of gave the impression that you were either not reading the tags, or not interested in prolonging the thread. Which is fine in of itself; I just wanted to call your attention to it because I didn't know what your intention was. We have our Andy and Katurian CR which I love, I just think it's also something to be aware of.

This autopilot-ness is something I've become aware of! And rest-assured, it's absolutely nothing personal and more a reflection of my divided attention these days than anything else. If you see anything like this in the future, please don't hesitate to let me know. Even if it requires rewriting tags, I'll strive to change it immediately. Your CR is tremendously important to me, and I never, ever want to give the impression that I don't care about it as much I do.

i honestly have nothing but disgustingly schmoopy praise for you, nai. regardless of who you're playing, i feel like you always approach your character with intelligent thoughtfulness, and by playing them, you elevate them to beyond fictional into something almost tangible. katurian is obviously no exception, and i'm really glad that terry got to get murdered with him because it was so much fun lmfaosldkj.

BUT ANYWAY yes, thank you for being here and being great. i could seriously just bask in your roleplaying forever. katurian's voice and his actions, all the little dark details and the little dark thoughts, they're perfect.
