For anyone who has the disadvantage of reading my plurk, you'll know this week has been pretty terrible for me on multiple fronts and it has since declined my invitation to improve. Terribly rude thing for a week to do. I'm calling a short hiatus, which I will do my best to break as soon as possible. I'm not even going to have it officially register in activity, because I don't want to get in that mindset.

I will continue the threads I have open because I'm an ADDICT and the only way I'll take a full hiatus is when I'm COMATOSE. Or without internet, I guess.

Hey guys, this is Kerry.

I've decided to drop Ginny for now. I have to be honest and admit my motivation for her has just kind of died over the last couple of months, and I've been struggling to find ways to get her involved. So for the time being, I think it's better to let her go.

I've really loved playing her here, and she's had some really great CR. Thank you to everyone who's been welcoming to her.

Most of what she had will still be in the Trollburrow. This includes Buckbeak who she's been looking after since James disappeared. Fred and George, he's all yours.

Ginny's kitten Hepzibah, though, will find her way to Midii Une's door now that Ginny's not around to keep her in line.

I will still be around with Julian so I'm not gone completely.

KILL ALUCARD (brainstorming)

Now that Ian's back from con, he and Jesse bring you a mini-plot! To make a long story short, the Major has reaaaaalllyy wanted to kill the vampire Alucard for over sixty years. Even though he sort-of accomplished this at the time he was Ported in, now that Alucard's in the City he wants to keep at it! Toward this end he intends to spam Alucard with every possible ImPort he can hire, convince, or manipulate to take a shot at him (and maybe the world's unluckiest NPC hitmen on top of it). He has already begun sounding out possible assassins ICly, and will post once this plot is approved to start things off.

It should be noted that the reason the Major has been at this for so long is that Alucard is very, very, very hard to kill. And that attempts at fighting him tend to end like this (Link NSFW due to violence and blood and horrifying vampire). The Major is hoping that Alucard will tear apart the people sent after him, preferably on television while laughing maniacally. The Major expects this would make Alucard a bunch of heroic enemies who would then go after him while the Major laughs, eats popcorn and sets his TiVO. Whether any of this will unfold as the Major plans is another matter entirely.

This post is for sounding out who would be interested in sending their characters up against an ancient undead killing machine at the behest of a Nazi seeking cannon fodder, and to figure out how the resulting fights would play out. We'll submit a plot proposal based on what gets decided on here and go from there. Let me know if there are any questions!

This is always a sad and difficult thing to do, but when muses are gone they’re gone. After a chat, Eppy and I are going to be dropping George and Fred Weasley from the game. We’ve had an amazing time playing the twins here, but the voices have just fizzled out. Sorry to everyone they had CR with, especially the stuff we were just getting going. The trollburrow should remain in its current altered state with the lease going over to dear brother Ron and the trolls that live there. They also get Buckbeak. Good luck. The majority of the money from the business (and technically the business itself, if anyone wants to carry it on) goes to the occupants of the house as well, with a significant sum (and a good bit of product) going to Calvin. The twins can only hope it gets spent on horribly inappropriate things.

Also, as may have become evident from the ridiculously increased delay in my replies for her, I’m also going to be dropping Talia al Ghul/daughterofthedemon, with the deepest apologies to the players of her ‘friends,’ coworkers, and especially family. But I just don’t have the time or energy to get her into the manipulative position she really should be in, and it’s been severely impacting my ability to play her. Her resources will be divided between Damian and Jason.

Sorry again, and if there’s any other loose ends I’m missing, hit us up here or on plurk! We’ll still both be here with our other characters, because there’s no getting rid of us from this game.

Hello, everybody! It's Lettie, and I'm bringing in a third character to Cape and Cowl -- Haymitch Abernathy. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Hunger Games, Haymitch is a frequently-drunk loudmouth and past Hunger Games Victor.

He's going to be terrorizing the network with the sounds of his vomit shortly. Haymitch comes in right after the end of the second book in the trilogy, sporting deep cuts on his face thanks to Katniss attacking him. He's going to be extremely skeptical of the city on arrival, so -- be gentle.

I'm looking forward to this immensely!

with all my green chicks, man it's like i like green or something. anyway, this means that Charles Xavier, Nepeta Leijon, GLaDOS and Lorna Dane are back in action! I was doing some backtags earlier, so I'll be getting to those as well as starting up some ALL-NEW ADVENTURES SOON!

i return to you all with loads of comics swag and also a cold, but that's from the animes and not from the comicses. or probably just the extended exhaustion of powering out two conventions in one week like a winner yEEEAAAAAHHH

Hello!

Just a notice that I am entering an examination period for the last half of May, which means that I am on revision mode at this point in time! It won't be a full hiatus unless I feel the need, but tags will be slower than usual.

I'll still be around for plots though, so it's fine to contact me if you've got anything you want or need. There's only six exams, so it isn't as bad as last year, but the exams are a lot bigger than the ones I did before!

Aaaaa...! Hello, CNC! It's nice to meet you (though I do know some of you already). You can call me Pepper and I am a newcomer who brings you Moon Knight! He is kind of three or sometimes four people, so you're assured to like at least one of him... or so I hope, if I do my job right! Sometimes he's the mercenary Marc Spector, sometimes he's the cabbie Jake Lockley, sometimes he's millionaire Steven Grant, but most of the time he's claiming vengeance in the name of Khonshu. For the moment, though, I plan to start with Jake Lockley, who has broken up with Khonshu and is the most friendly option -- though he isn't happy with what you've done to his precious New York streets.

I have to admit, this is my first time in a roleplay of this much... grandeur. I am new to this format and you might have to shove me around a little if I do something clueless? I am pretty nervous in large social situations, so please don't take it personally if I'm quiet towards you, since that's just me being shy! I warm up easy, and you guys all sound so fantastic.

Tomorrow I am picking up my new dog from the shelter, but unless my job comes up to snatch me, I should have Thursday free with an introduction for you all.

As a forewarning, I will use this icon a lot.
