Hey guys,

So life has been very very mean to me in the last couple of weeks, which has reflected on me being not here. I'm working on it -and the fact I finally had the time/brain/sanity to write it down is proof that I'm starting to get some control over it as well, but I'll be kind of slowish for the rest of the week. E-mail is where you'll have greater chances of me answering quickly (it's on this journal's app and in the contact page) so if you need anything, let me know.

This is currently affecting Kitty Pryde and Anya Corazon.

Hello! I'm Shae, brand new to the game, and I'm bringing in Kang from one of the many campaigns of D&D: Dragonlance. He's normally a seven foot tall dragony-looking dude who is a former military engineer (he's your man if you need a trebuchet or a catapult) and runs his people's nation as the Lord-Governor, and he's not going to be happy that he was taken from home and stuck in a human body 95% of the time. Or that he's stuck with dragons from his world.

...he's also not used to things like TVs or radios. Or internal combustion engines. Or even gunpowder. He's a fast learner, though!

And, he doesn't like being called a dragon or a lizard. :D;

You can reach me by AIM (WpnSpc Ironhide), plurk (UmiMikazuki), or PM. I'm really looking forward to playing with everyone!

DOLVANIA: One of the Cityverse’s unique countries, a small island nation in the North Pacific. Dolvania is a former Russian colony that is officially a parliamentary democracy struggling to recover from the 2002 ‘Boils Death’ plague. In reality, the nation is a totalitarian despotism with funny ideas about supervillains and biological weaponry. The Dolvanian regime has backed evil by Vulcanus, Eridan, Riddler, the Major, Zero’s Children and probably the Hamburglar for all I know. Some Imports have investigated and visited Dolvania, but no one has taken the incredibly risky step of striking on their soil... until now.

ZERO’S CHILDREN: In Dolvania, the only criminals that can profit are the ones who support the government. ZC is a terrorist group based around fanatical support for the regime as much as they are around personal gain. Within Dolvania, they are a bloody urban legend with their existence denied by the government. Worldwide, they operate lucrative and nasty rackets while intimidating dissidents. Their actions in the City have included arms trafficking, assassination, kidnapping, corruption, and trying to blow up the police station. Despite repeated blows against them in the City, the Children as an international group have remained untouchable... until now.

IRON CROWN: The secret stronghold of the Zero’s Children terrorist group, an abandoned gulag repurposed into a terrorist fortress. Located on a desolate, remote island off the Dolvanian coast, Iron Crown is where the Children’s global operations are co-ordinated from, where their high-value hostages and abductees are held, where their weapons and information are stored. No one has ever known about the Iron Crown or had a chance at taking it out... until now.

THE DEPENDABLES: A top-secret Import black ops team assembled by rogue cop Jack Bauer in 2010. The Dependables consisted of Imports who did not fight like Imports- those skilled in espionage and covert military actions, able to operate without flashy powers or costumes. The team was meant act outside the law without anyone being able to tell Imports were responsible, giving the City total plausible deniability for ruthless acts. The secret of their first and last mission was exposed in April as part of Jack's fall from the police force. It was a near-disaster that left over a hundred gangsters and mercenaries dead, but it also prevented a major attack on the City. The Dependables haven’t been assembled since... until now.

Jack Bauer’s private war against crime has led to him learning the location of Iron Crown. A new version of the Dependables is being put together. Their mission: assault Iron Crown, rescue the prisoners of Zero’s Children, and destroy the group once and for all. More than ever before, their strike must be swift, overwhelming, and utterly secret. Because this time, the mission is more than just illegal. If they’re exposed attacking another nation, it will be an... ACT OF WAR.

Team criteria behind the cut )

The plot itself runs ICly from the 26th to the 1st, from Jack’s recruiting post to the return from Iron Crown. There will be another post next week the team roster and roles, information on the target, and for planning how the actual mission and its preparation will play out. For now, sign-ups are below!
