Hi there, CNC!! Call me Pepper or Peps if you wanna be friendly. You may know me from a year ago when I played that one Marvel dude who worshiped the moon and that one DC dude who broke spines. Now, I return with one man who is not Big Boss but doing his best impression: Frank Castle AKA The Punisher. He is a mass murderer and generally not a very nice man, especially if you've done something very very bad.

He is pulled from the end of Greg Rucka's run, immediately before the Avengers sent him to jail, and damn if he isn't ready for action after those wounds heal up. He has invented powers for CNC: camouflage and sniper vision in his left eye. The latter is an excuse for his eyepatch and is also very delicate so will be used sparingly.

He has an OPEN LOG all throughout the City!! Come say hello!!

ADDITIONALLY I would appreciate taking a look at his PERMISSION AND OPT OUT post -- especially if you play a villain who is likely to run into him. I am going to be uber cautious and assume you don't want me shooting or stalking your character unless you ask. ... or unless you punch him first, then it's on.

Hit the Road, Jack, and don't come back

As of this post (technically as of Bradbury's birthday party) Jack Bauer has been released from the Norman Osborn Hospital of Psychiatric Evaluation following an evaluation hearing spearheaded by Callie Maggotbone and the federal Department of Integration. To recap, Jack was formerly a long-standing member of the City's police force before he was fired and arrested for going far beyond the law in his duties- torture, extrajudicial killings, unlawful surveillance, excessive use of force, illegal international missions, the works. Jack escaped prison and embarked on a personal war against crime for some months before being apprehended again last Halloween. He was institutionalized to undergo psychiatric evaluation for suicidal tendencies and possible antisocial personality disorder.

Thanks to months of mostly-good behaviour and the D.O.I.'s support, Jack has been released under the following conditions, all of them indefinite unless otherwise noted:

Jack’s release will also be subjected to noteworthy media scrutiny, criticism and controversy from civil liberties groups and other advocates against what he does. There will be some amusing overlap between those who would ordinarily disagree, i.e. hardline anti-ImPort types and human rights advocates united in condemning Jack's release so soon after his crimes.

He will be starting work with the Department of Integration immediately and won't let his release conditions stop him from jumping in to things. Priorities for Jack include producing updated pamphlets with information about Vulcanus and survival precautions against sudden abductions, finding ways to hurt Vulcanus, investigating the Phantasm, and maybe making life difficult for other NPC and PC hostiles as well. If anyone has any questions or wants to plot anything positive or negative around Jack's release and new career, let me know!

hey guys.

i've been putting this off for a while because a part of me still doesn't want to do it, but i'm going to have to drop the game. i still love cnc and its players, but i need a break for now. though you best believe i'm coming back after i recover from this burnout. y'all aren't getting rid of me that easily!!

honestly though i've been in this game for more than two years, and it's given me so many great memories. i've gotten to know so many wonderful people and formed friendships that transcend far beyond mere rp. it's really been an awesome experience.

anyway i'm going to stop now before i get (even more) emotional all over this post. thanks for everything, cnc. i love you all. don't be strangers!♥
