HEY, IT'S DRE (Alex/Phobos) WHO IS OVERLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS CHARACTER, OWEN.

Owen Mercer is the son of the original Captain Boomerang and Meloni Thawne (but no one knows about the latter). He's basically a punching bag who is known for being The Son of that Guy Who Killed Robin's Dad. He gets so much crap for taking up his father's mantle and Jack Drake's death, it's not even funny. But such is life. He was once a Flash Rogue and a member of Nightwing's group, the Outsiders, and also a member of Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad.

( And he is the best superhero. )

He is being pulled right after his mission/audition with Nightwing at the S.T.A.R. Lab's space station.

Suffering major burnout, my apologies to those I've flaked on in the past week. I'm biting the bullet and calling a hiatus now because I think I need an enforced break before it gets better. It'll probably be a weekish, I'll still post to the HMD and I'll still be tagging the threads I have now if you'll be even more patient than you already have (because ilu guys). I just won't be tagging anything new or posting anything new because bleh.

Jon and Piper will be chillin, Ghost will be ported out (pending a canon update) so godmode rights to nobody while I'm gone.

Okay, guys, it's time to rip the bandaid off. My life has made me absolutely unable to keep up with the game so I'll be dropping Nero and thus, leaving. It's been absolutely grand, I'll be keeping an eye on you all while avidly eating popcorn, and I'm sure that even though Nero has always been pissy in the city, we'll both miss the CR he had.

Hey guys! On my way down to Chicago for C2E2 so I'm calling hiatus. I hope to do a bit of tagging but I have no idea how busy I will be.

Sherlock and John are going to Peru for zatanna, so they are fine.

In the near future (likely in the early hours of Monday), the Museum of Modern Art will have The Persistence of Memory lifted off its metaphorical hands - no deaths, no shots fired, though there will be evidence of security cameras getting hacked, a window being removed for the occasion, a rooftop getaway, and comparatively little else. All in all, the heist looks like the work of someone who's really good at what they do.

But, aside from the theft itself (and a news post afterwards), everything else is pretty much open-ended! As in, if copcast/anybody else/etc. wants to get in on the investigation, any PCs are interested in buying ridiculously stolen artwork, tech sorts are interested in glancing over her hacking, or anything else plotty you can think of, I'm pretty much down for it!
