Hello, CnC. This is Dan, a newbie--bringing in 'Shanks' from One Piece, a story about pirates, marines and awful tasting fruits that have a slim chance to make you cool and a disproportionately large chance to make you extremely weird or extremely uncool!

Shanks comes from the crazy, partying pirate side of things. He's supposed to be the lead character's inspiration and former mentor, though in the course of the story, the brunt of his appearances happen to be him drinking or hung-over. Apparently, he's a swordsman and a diplomat all things aside--or something.
